A B O U T M E
As an award-winning travel journalist with over 20 years in the industry, I’ve written editorial features for The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Family Traveller, Culture Trip and many more glossies, newspapers and websites. With my copywriting hat on, I work with boutique Travel PR agencies to create expertly crafted copy for a wide range of clients, from luxury hotels to unique eco-lodges.
After graduating from Oxford University with a Biology degree, I stumbled into a short-lived (and ill-suited) career in management consultancy, before retraining as a journo at the London College of Printing (now the London College of Communication). Since then, I’ve never looked back and have been lucky enough to visit and write about 65 countries, from Italy to Iran, Greece to the Galapagos.
I’m happiest surfing with my two sons in Wales, dog-walking on the South Downs and walking on the beach barefoot in the Bahamas, where I grew up. These days I’m based in East Sussex, juggling family with freelance writing. And drinking a lot of coffee.
