Hi, I’m Jo. I’m an award-winning travel journalist with over 15 years’ experience. I’ve written for The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, The Times Magazine, The Telegraph and many more glossies and newspapers along the way.
After graduating from Oxford University with a Biology degree, I stumbled into a short-lived (and ill-suited) career in management consultancy, before retraining as a journalist at the London College of Printing (now the London College of Communication). Since then, I’ve never looked back and have been lucky enough to visit and write about 65 countries, from Italy to Iran, Greece to the Galapagos.
I’m happiest when rock-pooling with my two sons in Wales, running along the Thames towpath and walking barefoot in the Bahamas, where I grew up. These days I’m based in London, juggling small children with freelance writing. And drinking a lot of coffee.
